Was Michael Jackson Gay?

 

Britain’s popular daily tabloid Daily Star reported that Michael Jackson was gay and that he would sneak off of rat-infested hotels to have sexual encounters with other men.

According to the celebrity tabloid, biographer Ian Halperin - who followed Jackson for five years while researching his book Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson - said the singer had several boyfriends in the time he knew him. He also stressed that, although the superstar was attracted to younger men, none of his lovers were underage.

Halperin claims to have hunted down two of the star’s alleged male lovers and interviewed them. He told the Daily Star: “I spoke to two of his gay lovers - one a waiter, one an aspiring actor. The waiter had remained friends, perhaps more, with the performer until his death.

“He had served Jackson at a restaurant, where Jackson had made his feelings and intentions clear. The two slept together the following night and, according to the waiter, Jackson fell in love with him and they spent almost every night of their affair together.”
Apparently, these claims are substantiated with photographic evidence and a witness.
Halperin says he has no doubt that Jackson was gay and that his taste was for younger men. “Virtually everybody I interviewed who was close to the singer has told me this, even those who are his most ardent defenders and those who maintain that he is innocent of the molestation charges, insist that he was homosexually inclined.”
